Seacoast Pickleball

I wanted to take this opportunity to express gratitude since joining Seacoast Pickleball and share more about Circle 1!

 

I have now had the pleasure of meeting and playing with many of you in the morning, often in the 7am time slot. I am approaching my 2 month membership anniversary, and having only been playing pickleball a couple weeks prior to that, I acknowledge that my skill is raw, with experience happening in the moment, often being the weak link on the court. Nevertheless, I've been faced with nothing but a welcoming and kind environment to learn and have fun!

 

To say thank you, I have made these "7AM CLUB" hats to share with you. These are in extremely limited supply, with only 25 produced.

 

I started Circle 1 back in 2020. Initially, C1 was solely disc golf focused, as the opportunity to start a brand that made original apparel from the manufacturing level was prevalent, rather than the competition using local screen printers and embroiders to make products on the standard, often "cheap" blanks that flood the market. Creating at the manufacturing stage, allows C1 to control the quality of our products - from the fabrics we use, to the fit, to the design. Disc golf has exploded in growth, often being referred to as one of the fastest growing sports in the world, alongside pickleball. Circle 1 quickly gained the marketshare in disc golf and we currently outfit many top professional players in the world. 

 

While disc golf is at the core of the brand, there has been a strategic push and rebrand over the last 18 months to target other channels to allow the brand to live beyond just a singular sport. Many of the products that we were producing, already fit the sport of golf, so that was easy brand fit. We found that many of our existing customers were also playing pickleball. Currently, we have dropped a few pickleball specific products,  but our core line is performance and lifestyle driven, that can be utilized on and off the court.

 

Now that I'm personally invested and hooked, the development process of designing and sampling more specific pickleball products to fit an apparel line is in full force. I am also working on a high-end paddle, incorporating the latest tech and materials, to compete with the others on the market, at an affordable price point. The goal is to launch later this year.

 

Circle 1 is based in North Berwick, operating in a 4K sq/ft barn. The space acts primarily as storage and e-commerce fulfillment. I have plans to schedule an open house to welcome you all into the space to check it out. You can also order online and choose to pick it up.
